SHRIMP CHOWDER

Saute' a small yellow onion (finely chopped) in 3 Tbsp. butter.

In a large pot, combine:

4 cans Campbell's (send your labels to school) Cream of Potato soup
3 cans (drained) whole kernel corn
8 oz. cream cheese
4 cups milk (I usually use 2 cups pet milk & 2 cups 2% milk) & (you can use more milk if you like)
salt, pepper, red pepper to taste (I add a lot of red pepper.)
cooked onion
I use 1 teaspoon red pepper, sometimes more!

Add cooked shrimp - whatever size you like.  Heat thoroughly.
*Original recipe calls for "salad shrimp".  I prefer the larger cooked /deveined shrimp.
*Sometimes I use both - salad shrimp & larger shrimp.
I usually double the recipe and prepare in large crockpot.
