Homecoming Week

HOMECOMING SPIRIT DAYS:
This week has been filled with many events to promote school spirit!
Monday -  "Come As You Are Day" ... students wore their pajamas ... teachers too!  Oh, how we all look forward to this day all year.  It seems to be a favorite among all of  the staff.

Tuesday - "Sports Day" ... students were soccer players, gold medal gymnasts, softball players, football players, baseball players, basketball stars, and champion cheerleaders.  The students loved being able to show off their sports uniforms and talk about their after school activities with everyone.

Wednesday - "Camo Day" ... we had camo boots, camo bows, camo overalls, everyone disappeared!!!  It was costume day at the Middle School and High School.  I decided it was best for the Elementary students to leave the costumes at home for Halloween!

Thursday - "Crazy Sock Day" ... Yes, I believe the boys outdid the girls on this one!  I even saw "googlie" eyes hot glued to a pair of socks.  I love that our students get so involved with our activities and that they are not afraid to stand out in a crowd!  I also appreciate our parents supporting our silly days that make school so much fun for our little ones.

Friday - "Spirit Day" ... We will all be decked out in our blue and white!  There is one thing we definitely know how to do - support our team !

Parents, thank you so much for going above and beyond to help your children make
school memories that will last a lifetime!

 HOMECOMING CROWNING CEREMONIES;
The crowning ceremonies will start in the gym Friday, October 3, 2014 at 12:45.  They will
end approximate at 1:20.  The buses will load at 1:30.  Car riders can be picked up at 1:50.
I am hopeful that the car rider line will not form until 1:50, so the buses and parents attending
the crowning ceremonies have an opportunity to leave campus before we start loading cars.

HOMECOMING PARADE:
The Homecoming Parade will start at 2:30. It will leave from the back of the Parkers Chapel
First Baptist Church's back parking lot.  Families can line the community streets or the
Haynesville Hwy. between the PC softball field and the PC football field to show their support.
There will be 9th - 12th grade floats, cheerleaders, band, and of course the homecoming court on floats or in cars!  WE HOPE TO SEE YOU ALL THERE!

THE GAME:
The game will be Friday night against Woodlawn.  Students are required to sit in the stands with parents at the game.  No one is allowed to play behind the bleachers or on the practice field.  If you choose to sit at the picnic tables, you can do so only while eating, and then you must return to the bleachers.
